1. Overview

MansVids is a personal practice ledger. Photos, videos, notes and scores are stored primarily on your device. MansVids does not create accounts or ask for passwords. An anonymous device identifier is used so optional shared features can work without a traditional login.

2. Information stored on your device

Depending on how you use the App, your device may store:

• Skills, proof metadata, notes, difficulty and quality scores
• Photos and videos you add from your library (kept in the app container)
• Display handle, preferences, reminders and local caches
• An anonymous device ID stored in the device Keychain

You can remove local content with Clear All Data in the App. Clearing local data does not automatically erase every item previously uploaded for verification.

3. Information sent to our servers

When the App connects to https://api.mansvidsmakeanew.cc, it may send:

• Device ID — anonymous identifier in the X-Device-Id header
• Display handle — the name shown on shared surfaces
• Published proof metadata — skill name, category, standard, day number, timestamp
• Thumbnail image — a still JPEG only if you choose to publish for verification (not the full video/photo file by default for judging)
• Judgments — your verdicts on other users’ published proofs
• Challenge completions — that you filed proof for the shared daily prompt
• Stats sync — counters such as longest ledger days, total proofs and practice days
• History sync — metadata about your practice history (no media files in the history store)

Full proof media stays on your phone unless a feature you use explicitly uploads a thumbnail or other limited payload for verification or sync.

4. How we use information

• Operate verification, the vouch deck, Honesty Board and daily challenge
• Sync stats and practice history associated with your device ID
• Maintain service reliability, prevent abuse and prune old server records
• Respond to privacy or support questions you send to the developer email

We do not sell your personal information.

5. Sharing with other users

If you publish a proof for verification, other MansVids users may see your handle, skill claim, standard, day number and thumbnail in order to vouch for it. Rankings on the Honesty Board may show your handle and aggregate counters.

6. Retention

Server-side claims, judgments, history entries and related thumbnails may be retained for a limited period and pruned over time (for example, records older than about 120 days may be removed). Device-side data remains until you delete it or remove the App.

7. Children

The App is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). Do not use MansVids if you are under that age.

8. Your choices

• Do not publish proofs if you do not want metadata or a thumbnail shared
• Withdraw a published claim from the judging pool where the App allows it
• Clear local data on the device
• Contact us to ask about server-side data associated with your device ID

10. Changes
